Many moons ago, it was your 21st Baha’i
Birthday and you announced youwerehaving
a birthday party. I wondered, then, about the
mystery of spiritual rebirth - how dearly you
cherished these years of a new life - and was
touched that you had invitedme to celebrate
something I knew was so precious to you. I
didn’t yetunderstand.
Fromour first encounter in theBaha’iCentre,
when you handed me some music and
lyrics and I found myself singing “OGod! O
Almighty!”, through the first two seasons of
FaceofGloryanda fewmagical summerswith
Dizzy, I guess the universe was preparingme
for my own rebirth. With your arms waving
wildly, your eyes shining and your spirit
radiant, Ihavenodoubt,and infinitegratitude,
that your beautifulmusicwas paving theway
for my soul .. that theWord of God and the
spirit of the age was fast infusing into my
being. What a gift to offer one humble soul..
letalone themany,manysoulswhohave loved
and sungand listenedalong theway.
The choir was my first Baha’i community, a
beautiful spiritual familyandanewbeginning.
Within it, soulswere transformed, friendships
forgedandhusbands found !!
And speaking of husbands and pivotal
encounters, Misagh often remembers the
Collis Featherstone intake you and Malini
facilitated over the summer while he was at
uni. He remembers it as a time of profound
wonder and growth, the strengthening of a
conscious and independent spiritual destiny.
The deepenings and discussions of that time
havealways remainedwithhim.
Even our children benefit daily from your
service, in theprayers theysing, themusic that
helps educate their spirit and the wonderful
loveyou showerupon them ineverymeeting..
Lanahas fulfilled adream this year, being able
to sing and record with you in the children’s
choir.
So, you can see, our little family is indebted to
youdearGreg inmyriadways.Thankyou!

grateful for yourwarmth andhumour, stories
and contemplations, hospitality andwelcome
