Greg Parker - A Tribute - page 101

Greg,ourold friend.
First off I would like to say howmuch work
Greg has put into the Albany Bahá’í radio
programs. I am sure there is none who
could have surpassed him in producing such
professionalworksabout theFaith.
I have been responsible for delivering the
programs to the radio station, which play on
the Sunday 12 noon spot. My miniscule job
was very rewarding as it let me pre- play the
programs before delivery. Thismeant I never
missed a program, which also meant this
inspired me to proclaim the Faith at every
opportunity, thanksGreg!
Iran and I have known Greg for many, many
yearsandweknowhowvaluablehehasbeen. I
callhim ‘Maestro’,whichhe is,andhavealways
been amazed at his expertise with the guitar
and songwriting.
His achievement with the New Era choir
will be forever remembered in the Australian
community.
Weall pray forGreg’swell-being.

What Ihavealways lovedabout
Greg ishis tenacityof spirit;his
indomitablecourageandmental
acuity.Ofcoursehiscreativeabilities
speak for themselves.Whatan
amazing illustrioussoul.
When I lived inBunbury andhad the honour
of sharing with Greg those early pioneering
days I loved thewayGreg thought nothing of
travelling up to Perth and back as though he
was just going down to the corner shop for a
carton of milk and a loaf of bread. Distance
meant nothing to him and he could travel
anywhere at any time and still have heaps of
energy.
His incredible determined and positive
attitudeswillalwaysbean indelible inspiration
tomeand I’m sure,manyotherpeople.
